Comporta
The earthly paradise
To talk about Comporta is to talk about sensations, to feel the sea breeze, to walk along its long beach, to do it on horseback, to feel alone, to recharge your batteries, to buy striped towels to go back home, to eat good fish, to eat at Sal, to swim in the swimming pool over the rice fields of Quinta da Comporta, to have a cocktail at Sublime, to buy a dinner service or any pareo at Lavanda.
Comporta used to be a secret, and now that it is known by most. Comporta is September. It is the month of Comporta.
Comporta is not just a village, it is an area or region that stretches from the south of Troia to Melides.
